Understanding the Impact of Invasive Fungal Infections: Candidemia, Invasive Aspergillosis, and Invasive Mucormycosis
The next meeting of Atlanta Academy of Institutional Pharmacy will be held on Thursday, February 22, 2018, at the Atlanta Fish Market, located at 265 Pharr Road in Buckhead, Atlanta, 30305.
Registration will begin at 6:30pm, followed by dinner at 7pm. This is a promotional talk funded in part by Astellas Pharma US, Inc. No CE is provided. Astellas has asked that only those who provide direct patient care attend the meeting. Per Astellas: "pharmaceutical company employees even though they are members of AAIP are not part of the direct patient healthcare decision making team and therefore are not appropriate to attend this promotional program". Additionally, Astellas recognizes that VA employees are restricted by VA policy from taking the meal.
“Understanding the Impact of Invasive Fungal Infections: Candidemia, Invasive Aspergillosis, and Invasive Mucormycosis”, will be presented by Andrew Dold, DO, Infectious Disease Consultants in Suwanee. Dr. Dold is a paid speaker for Astellas Pharma US, Inc.
